Opera Meets Jazz
Miami’s own Latin Jazz Grammy nominee, Martin Bejerano, and Dutch classical pianist, Mike Del Ferro, in an innovative Dranoff 2 Piano performance of Opera’s most famous arias from Carmen, Tosca, and Rigoletto sung by lyric soprano Ella Marcus. Mike and Martin‘s beautiful convergence of opera and jazz set the stage for a genre of bending tapestry rich with classical roots and a popping passion for jazz.

The Dranoff 2 Piano presents West African Beats in its 3rd annual concert celebrating the soul of high art and music that was brought to the Americas along with 2 pianos and African percussion featuring the Martin Bejerano piano duo and Haitian American trumpeter Jean Caze and jazz ensemble.

PIANO SLAM at the Knight Concert Hall is a Classical/Afropop/Spoken Word mashup featuring Miami’s top teen poets and the voices of Miami’s youth performing with Classical Piano Duo Inessa Gegprifti and The New Cannon Chamber Ensemble with the beats of synth and keyboard star Anthony Laurencio.

A Contemporary Showcase of Cuban and Cuban American Composers
Latin 2 Piano showcases Miami’s large and diverse Latin population and the artistic richness and evolution of the waves of music that have come across the 90 miles of water from Cuba. Performance takes place at the Miami Dade County Auditorium Black Box Theater.
